Medora Matte Lipstick -Cherry Wood #207 Review & Swatches

Isn't it nice to find few lovely shades of Mac or Bobbi Brown in cheap local and affordable brands? My review of today is on a local brand Medora of London which contains a wide range of lipsticks and nail polishes. Medora is easily available nationwide on all cosmetic stores. This brand is made in Pakistan. Its lipsticks and nail polishes are my favorite ones. They have a wide range of matte ,shinny and glittery lipsticks. Matte lipsticks are my favorite ones. I like to use matte lipsticks due to their long lasting power. I am not a bold color lover. I always love to go with nude,pink or peach colors. But I love trying different nail and lipstick colors.
In winters I wanted to try a bold dark brown color for myself. I have found one in Mac named Dark Side. But I was confused to give it a try. Whether it will look good on me or not. I thought to find this color in some cheap brand as spending 2500 on just checking whether this color will look good on me or not was a bad idea.
One day on my visit to a makeup shop I found this color in Medora named Cherry Wood #207.
Medora is already my top favorite local brand for lipsticks and nail polishes. What should I expect more :) ? I bought this shade and tried it with pale gold eye makeup look.
Packaging is just OK. It comes in a dark gray plastic tube which is covered outside in a cupboard small box. I threw that box so I don't have picture of it.
Cherry Wood is a nice dark brown color. This shade can look good on all skin tones. It is a matte shade which lasts longer on lips. This lipstick can lasts for up to 6-8 hours without smudging or bleeding out, one of the best feature of Medora lipsticks.
Colors are highly pigmented .One coat can give the dark brown color. It gives nice color pay off. Formula is creamy and doesn't dry out lips while applying. It glides smoothly on lips, giving velvety matte look .My favorite one :)
It is still better than some expensive brands. Only drawback of Medora lipsticks is that their dark colors leave stains on lips .
It costs Rs. 100 . Which is very affordable and availability is easy.
I feel Medora should expand their lip color range as they have few color shades.

Here you can see the swatch of the shade .It looks exactly same to the Mac Dark Side .

Swiss Miss Matte Lipstick M-263 Pretty Pink Review & Swatches

Hello Friends,  I am happy to know that I am the first one to write a review about Swiss Miss Lipstick ;) Do you remember? We have seen our mothers and aunts using Medora and Swiss Miss lipsticks in the past. Both of them are probably the pioneers of establishing the cosmetics trend in Pakistan.
